This Unified Modeling Language (UML) Dictionary, put together by Kendall Scott, is based on the UML 2.0 Superstructure document (available at ) as well as material within these five books:

• The Unified Modeling Language User Guide
• The Unified Modeling Language Reference Manual
• The Unified Software Development Process
• The Rational Unified Process, an Introduction: Third Edition:
• The Object Constraint Language Second Edition: Getting Your Models Ready for MDA

Note that the User Guide and the Reference Manual are out of date. There's still plenty of good information in them, of course, but as a result of this, I've removed the links to the master index, which is accordingly obsolete. I'll do an updated index, and reinstate the links, whenever the "amigos" decide to put out new versions of these books. (Note also that I'm suing the 3rd edition of the RUP book, which for some reason isn't shown on Amazon yet.)
